I've always thought that those cycling caps look silly on people's heads, and maybe it would look funny on a cute animal, like a wholesome little sloth. Done!

The process for this poster was fairly simple. The design went from a crude thumbnail version of a sketch on a post-it note, to sketching it out loosely on tracing paper, and using a thick, black marker, drawing little hairs to form the sloth. Then the image was scanned in, and refined in Photoshop on separate layers.
I think one of the coolest things about this poster is that it makes people happy. Just seeing this silly, weird-looking little dude wearing a cycling cap. It's kinda ridiculous, and it's hard to look at it and not smile.
I like the idea that bicycles are generally affordable, certainly compared to a car. Plus, they're great for the environment.
