I got the idea from when I was living in a small studio apartment. To save space, I would hang my bike on the wall vertically. Always seeing it this way got me thinking about new perspectives of the bike.
I'm a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and art director. With a variety of different work, I always have a natural collaborative quality— both with self-initiated projects and partnerships with agencies, brands and design firms. Whether the work is a large scale mural, logo, illustration in an advertising campaign or framed art in a gallery— my aesthetic evokes energy and emotion through abstract geometric forms, intricate detail, line work and color.
I like the interesting viewpoint of under a bicycle. No one, besides the pavement, would ever see this perspective (unless you were flying through the air).
The color, form and shape of things and nature, and the way they can be abstracted, yet still represent an idea, are inspiring to me.
The best idea I've ever had while riding a bike? To keep going.
