Dirt Church

About this Poster

I was inspired by weekend mountain bike rides with pals. I had a riding buddy who called our Sunday rides "Dirt Church." I love how that brings to mind the ritual of riding, an appreciation for nature and for your fellow riders.

Go Off Road to Get Unstuck

I came up with the idea for this poster while riding in Landlocked Forest in Burlington, Massachusetts. Riding, off road in particular, is a huge part of my creative process. When I'm feeling stuck, a quick (or not so quick...) ride through the woods usually clears my head.

A Window For a Church Without Walls

I wanted to recognize Dirt Church as an important institution by creating a stained glass window for it (the coolest part of any church, imho).

Working Out the Puzzle

I love the puzzle that poster design presents. Communicating the most with limited space/colors/materials.
