Back Story

Bringing Uniformity to Chaos

I started by sketching out any bike-related themes that came to mind, and narrowed it down to a few favorites. I enjoy designing along a defined grid, so building geometric shapes and paths along it allowed me to bring uniformity to the chaos. Working within constraints like this helped bring the classic elements of a stained glass window to life.

Seeing and Exploring

Biking is a way to see the world from a different perspective. I have the ability to see new things and explore places I wouldn't otherwise be able to. It's also a great alternative to city public transportation.

The More You Look, The More You See

Little details in the piece present themselves the more you look at it. Certain parts flow into others, and create a narrative that lends itself to the theme of biking.
