About this Poster

On my commute to work I see a lot of people with pet carriers. I wanted to do something in that spirit, but with the cats out and free to be goofy.

Exit the Comfort Zone

I start everything with a pencil sketch. I normally then take it onto the computer and tighten the lines. Normally I only design in two colors, but this one I went out of my comfort zone to four.

More Colors, More Cats

This is the first four-color screen print I have ever done and it's the most cats I've had in one illustration. :) I'm really happy about how it came out on the "sno cone" colored paper with the white ink used for her skin.

Make Room for Ideas

I ride my bike almost everywhere I go. I get a lot of my ideas on my bike and feel that it really clears my head.
