I just wanted to draw a wholesome, alternative midwestern lady ridin’ a bike.
I am a designer/illustrator and sandwich connoisseur from Minneapolis. When not drawing, I spend a lot of time awkwardly laughing to myself or riding a bike.
My work process begins with a lot of nose-picking while I think about girls and what would look cool hanging on my wall. During this time I draw a lot of ugly man faces and butts in my sketchbook, along with some things that might actually look cool on my wall.
Then I proceed to open a blank canvas in Photoshop and stare at it for a few hours. After a continuous process of drawing some lines, frowning at them for a few minutes, erasing one or two and then drawing some more lines, you get something like what you see here.
My connection to bicycles is that I fancy riding them.
